WASSAIL CELEBRATIONS

Blessing the apples trees! This year we visited the fascinating Avoncroft Museum near Bromsgrove to join in their wassail and for the first time blessed the trees with Oldfields Original.

The procession and ceremony was performed to a packed crowd by the mummers from Coventry University with support from Morris Sides 1st Sedgley Morris Men and The Faithful City Morris Men who kept warm on a lovely January day by dancing and joining me for a cup of mulled cider.

There was a hog roast too and plenty of activities going on amongst the historic buildings, it was great to welcome our new Worcestershire Cider at this popular Worcestershire visitor attraction.
