Oldfields Mulled Cider Recipe

Ingredients
  • 2 litres Oldfields Medium Sweet Cider

  • 2 Cox apples, cored and sliced into quarters

  • 8 cloves

  • 4 cinnamon sticks

  • 6 allspice berries

  • pared zest of 1 large orange

Method

In a large saucepan, combine all ingredients. Cover the pan with a lid and bring slowly up to a simmer on low heat - never allow to boil. Once bubbling, turn off the heat and leave to infuse. Pour into heatproof glasses or mugs.

Alternatively, you can use a high-quality mulling syrup added to our cider. We recommend using Selsley Mulling Syrup. Simply add to your chosen cider in an 8:1 ratio, heat and serve.

Delicious tip

Mix the ingredients up to 12 hours in advance, then heat up just before serving to maximise infusion.
